Opening of Swedish scientists can be used to develop drugs that can slow down dramatically during atherosclerosis.Doctors in Sweden have indicated more than thirty genes that prevent the development of heart attacks and strokes.Effect on these genes can reduce LDL "bad" ch*lesterol by stopping the development of atherosclerotic plaque. In experiments on mice scientists from the Karolinska Institute found out that the development of atherosclerosis comes with varying speeds: first, the process runs very slowly, then accelerates, and within ten weeks of forming a large atherosclerotic plaque. At the same time drastically increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes a*sociated with the clogging of blood vessels of the heart or brain.Issldeovatelyam also managed to stop the formation of large plaques by lowering "bad" ch*lesterol. And the brakes on this process was possible only on "slow" stages of atherosclerosis, the head of research Borkegren Johan (Johan Bjorkegren).According to the scientist in the research they've found "network" of 37 interacting genes influence which stops the development of atherosclerosis.
